Life, with its unpredictable twists and turns, sometimes doesn't provide the physical and emotional security and positivity we wish for and need.
The Healing Home is about finding our inner sense of peace, calm and belonging. Through creativity we can gain an understanding of where we belong. We can discover that our security, purpose, identity, self-worth and emotional values are all internal. No matter where life takes us, our home is within our heart.

Through our range of creative workshops, we aim to guide, encourage and support your journey into conscious crafting. We teach not only the development of practical creative skills but also show you how items created with spiritual and mindful intent can help bring about positivity, relaxation and inner emotional balance.
When we are creative, we are in the moment. We focus on the skills we are developing. Like food made with love, making items from the heart increases your emotional wellbeing. We have a deserved sense of pride, accomplishment and a huge boost to our feelings of self-worth when we look at, hold and use an item we have made with our own hands.
Traditional crafts and skills can be lost and forgotten in our modern, high-speed world. To reconnect with the slow and careful processes required in hand making an item helps us remember the value of time and care.
Metal Clay Workshops
Learn how to make your own precious items of jewellery from fine silver clay
Design and Make a Positive Affirmation Pendant
Imbue your individually created design with blessings, memories and personal healing energy.
£180 for 2 Day course. Includes 10g of Art Clay Silver, jewellery findings and the use of all required tools.
Day 1
You will learn how to work with metal clay and make a small practise pendant. Whilst your pendant dries ready for firing you will start to design your Positive Affirmation Pendant. By the end of day 1 you will have a completed practise pendant to take home with you and your polymer stamp should be well on its way to being ready to use.
Day 2
You will start Day 2 by finishing your polymer stamp. You will then concentrate on making your Positive Affirmation Pendant from Art Clay Silver. Once your pendant has been fired, you will spend the afternoon hand polishing your pendant to a wonderful shine. You will leave with a pendant complete with chain ready to wear.
Sewing Workshops
Learn how to make your own spiritual quilt
Design and make your own spiritual quilt or meditation blanket
Take your time to select fabric and designs which reflect your wishes, interests, emotional positivity and uplifting sentiments.
Include memories, special wording, symbols and colours, which bring you feelings of calm and comfort. Include pockets to hold special affirmations or crystals.
£100 for 3 Day Course. Use of sewing machines and thread provided. Help will be given in selecting and purchasing your own fabric prior to the course. You will need to bring your own fabric to the workshop. We can recommend Empress Mills for good quality quilting cottons and a range of soft brushed cotton for the backing.
Day 1
We will start by making sure everyone has the relevant basic sewing machine skills. You will spend most of Day 1 designing and sourcing elements for your quilt top. You will make any personalised design elements, affirmations and trinkets you would like to be included in your quilt.
Day 2
You will spend the day preparing, cutting and sewing your patchwork quilt top. You should also have the time to complete any desired applique or other design elements.
Day 3
On the final day you will attach the quilt back to your patchworked quilt top. The design is a self-binding quilt, so you will finish by turning, pressing and top stitching around your border.
If there is time you can make a cushion cover to hold your quilt (known as a Quillow).
